Maddi's Haven Pool & Backpackers


Maddi's Haven Pool & Backpackers is located at Lalao St., Purok 1 Catarman, Dauis, Bohol. It is about 18 minutes ride away from Bohol's capital city, Tagbilaran City. This beautiful place is now gaining its popularity all around the city because of its comfortable cottages and tents that are really Instagram-worthy. They are open Everyday, 9:00 am to 10:30 pm. Don't forget to bring your swimming attire to experience the pool and hangout with your friends at the pool bar.

They have rooms and native houses you can rent for overnight stay. Entrance fee for Day-use guest is only Php 100.00. And most importantly, you can bring your own food. See more details below:

The pool is only available until 12 midnight.

They have a store inside the resort so you can buy food, drinks, and other necessities. Enjoy recreational activities they offer such as dart, billiards, giant Jenga blocks game, and giant XOXO game (also known as Tic-Tac-Toe game).

San Miguel Archangel Parish

  If you are looking for a solemn place for praying and meditation, as well as looking back to the history of Bohol, churches here are very much evident to that. One of them is the San Miguel Archangel Parish also known as Jagna Church. The parish of Jagna and its convento was established in 1631 with the help of the Jesuit priest, José Sanchez (Josef Zanzini [1616-92]). He embellished the churches with gilded retablos and for Jagna built a three-story structure in honor of St. Michael. Adjacent to the church was the convento which was built of rubble with a metal roof. Both church and convento must have been built by the Recollects who assumed administration of Bohol with the departure of the Jesuits in 1768.
